Time for Twos Storytime – Feely Things – Friday, March 28, 2014

Today we are using our fingers to explore the world around us!  We are touchy FEELY THINGS.  Toddlers love to experience new things, and sensory play is a great way to do that.  Try some of the activities on Pinterest.  I love the Sudsy Goop – what a super messy pile of fun!

Our books:

Tickly Prickly (Bonnie Becker) – This book will ask kids “how does it feel” to try different activities.  Bold illustrations and rhyming text add to the book.

Hands Can (Cheryl Willis Hudson) – What can your hands do?  Rhyming text and color photographs will engage toddlers in conversation about what their own hands can do.
