This week is our final storytime for the fall session. I encourage you all to attend some of our Holiday Programs or the Parent-Child Workshops this December while we are on a storytime break. Remember to give us a call in January to sign up for the Winter storytime session.
This week we are reading stories about “peekaboo!” Peekaboo is the perfect baby game – it doesn’t require special equipment and it helps your baby understand basic concepts like “object permanence” (that is, objects still exist even if you can’t see them). Plus, it’s just so much fun for baby!
Our books this week:
Rhyme – Boo! It’s Me!
Look and see
One, Two, Three
PLEASE! One HUGE favor to ask of all of you! The Children’s Services department is conducting a Storytime Survey to help us provide your family with the best children’s library programs. Please complete the survey online, or ask for a paper copy at the library. Your feedback is valuable!
Thank you all for a great fall session of Lapsit Storytime. I truly enjoy planning programs for your babies! Thanks for sharing your little ones with me each week. Have a fun and safe holiday season, and see you in January for more storytime!
